While sex and war sell, I aim to achieve success* through raw, human, emotional storytelling crafted for meaningful impact.

I hold no respect for filmmakers who use unnecessary glorified violence and sex appeal as an attempt to bolster revenue. It’s far too common, and has a huge negative impact on not only the quality of the film and the reputation of all involved, but society’s perception of misogyny and violence — and by extension, their victims.

* My definition of success looks a little different: if I enjoyed creating the film, and others enjoyed or were impacted by watching the film, it’s a success.
